FAQ

Weddings

Can we meet beforehand?

I’d love to meet! It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know each other over a cup of tea (or a beer), discuss all the details of the wedding and learn about your personal preferences.

How many photos will I receive?

I cannot tell you beforehand how many photos I will deliver exactly because it depends on the amount of photogenic moments during the day. Usually a longer day means more photos. Nevertheless, you can expect between 300 and 500+ photos. I don’t set a maximum limit, so you’ll receive all the beautiful moments.

How will we receive the photos?

The photos will be delivered in 3 different ways:

1) The photos will be published in your personal gallery that you can easily share with your friends and family. If you wish, you can also give them permission to download photos from the gallery.

2) You will receive a WeTransfer link containing all your photos in their original quality

3) The larger wedding packages also contain a beautiful USB stick with all your photos.

Will we receive the RAW files?

I do not deliver the RAW files. I will edit your photos with great care and deliver those as high resolution files, which you can perfectly print in large format if you wish.

What if I've booked you for my wedding and it takes longer than expected. Can I book extra hours on the spot?

Yes, as long as I’m available I’m happy to stay longer. On my wedding page, you’ll find the price per extra hour for every package.

Can you tell me more about the booking procedure?

First, I’d suggest we meet, in real life or over a zoom call, so that we get to know each other a bit. I’ll tell you how I usually work, we’ll go over your questions and I’ll try to understand your personal preferences to offer you a personalised service. Afterwards I’ll send you a questionnaire that helps me prepare for your wedding. I will also send you contract and my terms & conditions. If all of that works for you, I’d ask you to sign those documents and transfer the retainer. Once that’s done, I’m definitely blocking your wedding day in my agenda.

When is my booking confirmed?

Once you’ve transferred the retainer, the booking is official and I’ll block your wedding day in my agenda. The remaining amount should be paid at the latest on the day of the wedding.

Other shoots

How will I receive the photos?

The photos will be delivered through an online gallery and WeTransfer.

What if the weather is bad on the day of our shoot?

It doesn’t have to be sunny to make nice photos. On the contrary: it’s often even better if it’s a bit overcast. But if it’s pouring with rain, we will reschedule. Since our Belgian weather can change very quickly, we’ll wait until the day before the shoot before changing plans. If we have to reschedule because of the rain, there is no additional cost and we’ll simply look for another date that works for both of us.

Where will we do the photoshoot?

If you already have a location in mind, feel free to suggest it to me. Otherwise I’m happy to give you some suggestions based on your preferences.

What should I wear?

I’d always recommend to match your outfits in terms of colors tones. It’s best to avoid busy patterns, very flashy or very dark colors, or T-shirts with text. Personally I really like natural earthy tones, but the most important thing is that you feel comfortable in what you wear. Once your booking is confirmed, you will also receive a style guide from me with useful styling and clothing tips.

Can you tell me more about the booking procedure?

After we agree on the date and all the other details, I’d ask you to transfer a retainer for your shoot. Once that’s done, you’ve secured your timeslot in my agenda.

When is my booking confirmed?

Once you’ve transferred the retainer, the booking is official and I’ll block your wedding day in my agenda. The remaining amount should be paid at the latest on the day of the wedding.

Can I have the unedited photos?

Unfortunately no, I only provide final products that are consistent with my editing and brand. I only want the best quality of pictures for you and for potential clients to see. Your package comes with a set number of photos, and you’re always welcome to purchase additional photos, of course!
